The venue of the Boa race is at the ending point of Kallada River in Munroe thuruth near Kollam city in Kerala. The Kallada Boat Race attracts a huge crowd including visitors from abroad. Almost all of the major Boat clubs
in Kerala are the regular competitors of Kallada Boat Race.
